WASH UP AND CARE POLICy
All rental items supplied by Fancy Neighbour are clean, hygienic and ready to use.
Our vintage china is fragile, so please take care when handling.
Ideally please hand wash your hire items with mild detergent, rinse, dry and repack them in the manner they were received, ready for return, unless you have made other arrangements with us.
Please see below for specific cleaning instructions by item type.
Napkins – napkins must NOT be washed or ironed by the customer after use. Please place napkins into the wash bag provided.
Tablecloths – Tablecloths must NOT be washed or ironed by the customer after use.
Cutlery – All food should be removed immediately from cutlery after use to avoid staining, rusting and damage. Please hand wash our cutlery items with mild detergent and we ask you to dry the cutlery before returning cutlery to its container to avoid rust.
Glassware - Our glassware ranges are all dishwasher safe.
Dinnerware – Our plates are dishwasher safe.
Vintage China - Blue Willow (this includes high tea side plates and tea sets) - hand wash your hire items with mild detergent, rinse and dry.
Vases – Water, florals must be removed from the vases prior to returning.
Serve ware & Cake stands – handwash with mild detergent, dry before placing back into the container.
Crystalware - Carefully handwash with mild detergent, dry and rewrapped back into the container.
Table & Chairs - To be folded and wiped down.
DAMAGE, BREAKAGE & MISSING ITEMS
If there is any damage, breakage or loss to the rental items the customer will be charged as per the replacement value, The replacement value will be deducted from the customer’s bond.
In the event that the breakage exceeds the bond amount, the customer will be invoiced accordingly.
Payment is due within 7 days of invoice.
The Bond will be refunded within 7 days of the account details being provided by the customer to Fancy Neighbour, in full or deducted according to any damage, breakage or loss.
This will be returned via bank transfer to the customer.
